As a Falling Star

Falling and shattering upon earth exactly like a crush that goes unnoticed.....

Falling through the sky

As a fallen star

Hoping for you to catch me

But you let me fall

 

 

You just don't see

That I'll shatter and break upon the earth

Peices will break apart to unknown regions

And only God's tears can find them

 

 

I fall without regret

And as i fall the stars fall with me

one by one the sky grows blank and dim

and i fall onto the earth broken hearted

 

 

Its alright I'll be fine

I need no help picking up my broken limbs

For I know the truth

I have always known and will always know

Your love is like the stars above me

Beautiful and bright but far from my reach.

Author's Note

Just a poem I wrote for my school work about two or three years ago. I wrote it for a boy I had liked and met the year before. Oddly enough I started liking him after he transfered schools. I've added a lot more to the poem and I have also changed a lot of the words to make the poem more dramatic.

Awww...this is sad but I really like it. I could just picture the falling stars and the stars shattering to earth and the sky going dark. You described it very well. I love the imagery. Great poem! :)
