Loneliness

Loneliness

A Poem by angelina neves
"

Albert's Poetry Café - LONELINESS

"

Loneliness
Misperception dwelling
the impression of no connections
Grief emerges
With the loss of conscious’ bridge
The ability to become independent
Human infancy denying growing

Loneliness
Refusing to listen to the sounds
Coming from near and far
Denying seeing
How everything is forever connected
And you can never be alone

Loneliness
Pursuing fantasies
Coming from mothers womb’s warmth
Searching for a special soul mate
Like a grain of sand in the desert
In a Ocean of billions of souls

Loneliness
Moving hopes onto others hands
Putting love into others heart
Letting obstacles and handicaps
Get hold of your life
Forgetting the myriad of webs
Those starting inside you
Echoing trough the Universe

Loneliness
Refusing to voice your uniqueness
Exercise your independence
To be happy and freely
Connected with all
Making a difference with every breath
Contributing to the human unity

Angie...I like this wonderful write a lot. It envisions lonliness as a state of mind, not a state of reality. And you're right. No one is ever really alone if they have a life of any kind. Just in living daily life, we interact with many others who impress upon us our place in the natural order of humanity. We are all connected, spiritually if not visibly or physically.

Wonderful poem Angi! I loved each stanza describing the state of "loneliness"
throughout this great write.

One stanza one stood out for me particularly...

"Loneliness
Refusing to listen to the sounds
Coming from near and far
Denying seeing
How everything is forever connected
And you can never be alone."

Good job! Thank you for "Keeping the Dream Alive"! ~

What a beautiful poem you have written here! I love this stanza very much:
"Loneliness
Misperception dwelling
the impression of no connections
Grief emerges
With the loss of conscious' bridge
The ability to become independent
Human infancy denying growing"
The mind plays a big role in making us feel or deny things ... whatever state we are finding ourselves into!
Very powerful write:) Thank you

Salam to you :)

You've written words, created contact with the reader, invited him or her into your mind and 'talked' more about what's beneath the phrases and stanzas and so forth. In your loneliness there's a need to find self, to hold onto self.

Great post, thank you for sharing it.

Excellent I believe that "style" often announces a superb writer. I knew who this poet is. Thus can many acclaimed poets be identified by their "style". I liked best the lines..... "Moving hopes onto others handsPutting love into others heartLetting obstacles and handicapsGet hold of your life". truly beautiful.
