Needing someone who is never around

It’s when I need you-

It’s when I need your thoughtfulness

That you are nowhere near

to give a word of comfort and say how much you care

 

It’s always when I need you-

It’s when I need your presence

That you are nowhere near by

To erase my sorrows and my fears

And wipe my eyes when I cry

It’s when I need your love

That you are nowhere around

To help me, pick me up if I should stumble to the ground

It’s whenever my life needs you that your presences become few

And I am wondering how long will it take for you to respond when I say

“I need you”
