risky and safe
calculate the quickness
engineer the chaos
live your life and the other one
in your head

 

dry and gray
blooms, expands, unfurls
into a kaleidoscope of little ironies
colored like tie dye
barely discernible patterns
repeating into eternity

 

infinite this speck
this sliver

 

lying parallel
held tight like piano wire
watching the perpendicular
