Couldn't Wait

random poem. i actually wasn't hungry when i wrote this xD

My tummy was growling

It was speaking to me

I held onto it tightly

This couldn't be

I ran to the kitchen

Saw food on a plate

But it was for my mom

But my tummy couldn't wait

Feeling so guilty

I hid the plate in the sink

And ran back upstairs

Before your eyes would even blink

My tummy was fine

I was happy then

But my name was yelled out

(Uh-oh...)

I'm not doing that again
