A typical day for "bird kids"

Day after day,

I live in danger,

I am never safe,

However,

I feel safe with my flock, my family

Weird? Yes, it is

 

Day after day

I wake up in darkness,

I am blind,

However, now, I can “feel” color,

Weird? Yes, it is

 

Day after day,

I cook for my flock,

I am the best cook there,

Weird? Yes, it is

 

Day after day,

I get attacked by “Erasers”,

Yet I can fight,

Yet I can fly,

Yet I can bomb my enemies,

Although I’m blind,

Weird? Yes, it is
