Woman

Woman

Stagnant:
A pool of rotten rain water 3 days old
oil sheen
in its green and purple metallic magnificence

Wasted:
The elements from earth
lost from nature
used to fuel man's desires

Naked:
A gaping sense of loss,
the mountains that have been torn down
to create paths for trampling

A sense a bit of a Gaia thing going on here. Woman is fertility, when despoiled she represents a despoiled world...
I won't elaborate on what tearing down mountains would mean, though, if that is the case. I'll leave that to Shakira, who possesses small and humble features so as not to be confused with mountains.
