Forest Road

Forest Road

A Poem by Ankur

Beautiful road went deep into the woods
Through the mountains and over the brooks
Trees kept a watch over it
Making sun hard to get to it.
Very few travel the length of it
Without leaving their heart in the midst
Walking through was not very easy
Cos thought of the end made them crazy.
Coldness faded towards the end
with the approaching open land
With no trees to keep watch no more
the road tumbled more and more.

While I was reading your poem I remembered every walk of mine with my friends in the woods, how we loved the atmosphere, the song of the birds... and we are always sad when we arrive back in the city...such a beautiful place are the woods with it's roads that can show you unlimited wonders!
Can't wait to read more :)
