Seeking Flawlessness In a Flawed World

Unexisting flawless people,

that you make up in your mind,

that you just for just a picture,

but there's nobody of that kind.

Even though you know that,

you can't help but long,

being as perfect as a picture,

that doesn't have anything wrong.

You tear yourself down,

feeling like imperfection fills your body.

Until you finally realize

that you invented that story.

The fantasy where perfection is real,

where your Prince Charming lives.

Who you hope one day you'll find,

but with the longing feeling sticks.

I agree with the logic in the poem. I know there is perfection in this world. Each of us weak and strong in different things. It is good to hope and wish for true love and happiness. Love is give and take. Last line is a bit rough. I would use. "but will the feeling of longing stick(Or maybe persist). You are a very good writer. Do you write poetry in Spanish? In 1920 my grandfather came from the town of Castellanos.
