Forget The Day

Forget The Day

A Poem by Emmy

What a beautiful day to forget

Forget the sun we catch
as we watch the rays
poke through the clouds.

Forget the hours we spend
listening closely
to noiseless sound.

Forget that the air feels
like window wipers
clearing our minds.

Forget feeling content
with nothing to do
and not be bored.
