This is the Best Day Ever

This is the Best Day Ever

A Poem by Elle Thompson
"

not like the stuff I usually write very bitter

"
I don't mean to gloat, but
This is the best day ever.
I poured kerosine down your throat
I hope this feeling lasts forever.

I danced when I saw the fear in your eyes
Gave you one last kiss as I secured your demise
Let's call it pay back, for all of your lies

I watched you burn
I hope this feeling lasts forever
Without concern
This is the best day ever
The air filled with smoke and cruel laughter
Happily, happily ever after.

Excellent. As I know, it feels good to think such things about someone who has treated you very, very badly. Thinking and doing are very different, of course. Kerosene down the throat--I like that.
