The Me Within

The Me Within

A Poem by Anthony
"

Ever had another you within you?

"
The me within
Is different than the me you see.
Bound by bond, myself and I.
Woven, Intertwined, Inseparable.

Yet.

Bound as brothers, they can war.
Light hurling darkness.
The blight clouding the light.
A beast born in the newfound dark.

It.

Howls, Screams, Gnarls
Light, it consumes.
Myself and I, brothers in bond,
Sit in anguish and darkness

Will.

The beast rules,
The me within,
It is now the me you see.
Myself and I, Brothers bound in sorrowful bond.

Not.

Thanks! I'll try and work on it soon. Your poem about time was good as well.
