death bed

death bed

A Poem by Anxelin

thud , thud, thud
pounding in my head
from a heart upon this bed
it's racing too fast
slamming wood doors
the pounding headaches
it has made
like an earthquake
these pounding waves
aching beats
on native drums
it slows pace
quieting this place
for peace at last
with no more waves

Very good, For me i felt that the subject was in turmoil and at the end found peace, even if that be in death.

As they say, death is just the next step in life
