The world lost its soul

The world lost its soul

A Poem by Apparition
"

wrote at work during lunch

"

The world lost its' soul

The day I found out that "sexting," is going to be in the dictionary

You know, sexting-an alternative method for phone sex rejects

Observative message for tone deaf insects;

'There's nothing left worth conserving.'

The world lost its' soul

The day medicine and weapon began merging

Half Vaccine half fat cat scheme

Got pre-teens purging

The world lost its' soul

The day religion became an institution

The word God written in the constitution

A swift end, stipend of the revolution

The world lost its' soul

A long time ago, when corporate logos

Found their place on cardboard box signs

The homeless, brought to you by their sponsor, boone's farm wine

The world lost its' soul

If it ever even had one to begin with
