Eyes, and what to do with them.

Eyes, and what to do with them.

A Poem by Tangerine
"

I don't know where this came from. I just felt it and wrote it. Thanks to all who read it.

"

Staring at the ceiling fan

Watching one of the blades

It goes around, but you can't keep up

Your interest in it fades

Looking out the window

Watching the leaves spiral down

Doing their own graceful dance

You love the rustling sound

Watching the brave little baby

As he lets go of your hands

The first time he's succeeded

Now your little boy can stand

Closing your eyes and dreaming

All your worries washed away

Now all you have to view

Are your accomplishments of the day

I love this poem! Insta-fave! seriously! I think we have all tried to keep up with the blades. and if you haven't yet, you must do it! haha I love the imagery, from the fan to the little boy. Seriously awesome!

I know exactly about the feelings in watching the blades =], and I thought the leaves were a great hint. The boy walking was very cute. Kudos. I loved the poem.

I've done that thing with the ceiling fans before, trying to keep up with the blades...haha! And I love the vision of the leaves dancing as they fall. All the things we see, mundane, like the fan, to marvelous like the baby's steps...nice poem.
