warm bed

once upon a safe haven

ripped out from under my

melting body

forceful hands

how is it

love and lust

got so tangled up

into greed?

who are you to take

what I gave you

so freely

like it's your possesion?

forcefully

without love

wrapped in drunken lust

silent acceptance

on my part

of blinding love

and the death of your many secrets

except they still lie in the tomb

of my heart
