Savior

Savior

A Poem by arash.suicide

I used to carry the world long ago when I was young

on a long fading line across the pain

I had all the pain on my back

and I lost my way

I lost the line

they watched me as I grieved but didn't say a word

I had all the pain on my back and I lost my way

so I died

i died so long ago

and I was distended to die eternally

so I died again and again just to feel the pain

and then I became the pain

I became the numb walking dead still carrying the world lost and faceless

and now I see you

you look like all the pain I ever carried

there's something inside you

I see the world in you're eyes

I hold you're hand and I feel all these years passing us by

I hear you breathe and I hear the weeping beyond

yes I can see through you

there's an earthbound sorrow in you I know

oh sorrow!my old soulmate

and I believe you

I know you tried

I know you pushed so hard

I don't know you

yet I wanna share my silent nights with you

i want you to wipe my tears

I want you to be

I want you to go

I want you to save me

I want you to...

leave and let me die alone....

Interesting work, reminds me of the work of Travis Meeks, maybe even Layne Staley.
