I poem about that someone special in your life who maybe you don't thank enough :)

For every time I made it quiet

Because I didn’t know what to say

For the time I refused to try it,

Because an argument was something to say.

And all those times I hurt you

How did you manage to stay?

This is for you

For being the coolest person ever

Letting me speak the truth

And still being my best friend.

For not thinking I’m rude,

And enjoying the silence.

For embracing our past

And for letting it go.

For keeping up when I move fast,

But also forcing me to go slow.

And for taking out the trash

When I don’t want to.

This is for you,

so that you know,

That I’m thinking of you always.
