Secret prisons every day

Civil rights usurped without warrant

War without just cause

War without the truth

Soldiers recruited without fairness

No opportunity to object

Prisons cluttered with the innocent

 

The People have been denied magic

The People have been denied ESP

The People have been denied true love

The People have been denied the truth

The People demanded change

The People suffered the status quo

 

Do not base the Kingdom of God

Upon artificial life for The Abyss

Is justice “Just Us?”

Do not wait another day, Mr. President!

Justice is not a second term agenda

Justice cannot wait another day!

It started out great, with a very strong message. Then the message was beaten and trampled within the second stanza and almost dead at the end of the piece. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I'd be willing to bet it had something to do the list of things people have apparently been denied when they haven't been denied anything on the list.
