If size were what life were about

then we would not matter a bit

Not to the thoughts that man can dream

nor all the sins he could commit

Our mind is what gives us value

sensitive beyond it's design

Compassion and love will endure

in both your children and in mine

This little blue planet of life

the only home that we know of

Holds us in it's loving embrace

as here was born every love

No matter what life can collect

nor how long life grants you in time

Why would it matter to the earth

or to the heights of mountains you climb

Humanity won't remember 

the man who commanded his friends

Only he who gives hope and love

so that life on earth never ends

Can a thought or feeling be larger than a universe? Love is the only trait that is worth remembering because it is meant to be given away selflessly. The recipient is as happy to receive it as you were to give it!

If all your neutrons were connected together and engaged at the same time they would be able to create a thought sequence far greater than the size of any universe known to humankind. Your deep thinking mind has stirred the pot and may well bring many others into action and this in itself may start a chain reaction.

Long time no see, but it is the same ole me ... You have penned a very touching piece of philosophical thought that serves as hope for a future for all the Human Race... Time will tell out the story plays out, but we can only hope for the best, for whatever intangible essence Love is comprised, constructed, or formulated of implicitly inexplicable, unfathomable, and surely incomprehensible realm that resides not in the Cranial Brain, but within that Brain of the Smart Heart, for it is now Scientifically established that the Human Heart, indeed, possesses a small brain that deals explicitly in feelings and instincts, for Love and for Survival ... Sadly, it is that Cranial Brain, starved by distance from that oxygen pumping heart, that learns to hate, know hatred, and practices hate in wreaking havoc upon Mankind ... Excellently written, my friend, as usual ...

Thank you, sure. Love has a quality unique to itself. It is selfless. It cannot be extorted such as in religion where God tells you that you must love him or pay the price. Love Has to be given freely. Or it has no meaning. It can’t be extorted it can’t be bought. It is the one uniquely precious thing that human beings are responsible for. The reason love can wreak havoc and cause pain and such great measure is because it is so precious. It leaves us exposed. I must give of them self in the hope that it will be turned against them. it is the sharing of the heart with another that puts a person out there.
