A Man "Michael died march 1st 2012"

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

Bearing for her life's burdens soothes the children of their tears Is the rock all others break upon leaves fond memories are his years

"

My son in law Michael Wellman walking with his daughter, my granddaughter Payton
This picture now framed hangs in his mothers atrium welcoming all who visit.

Michael Wellman
The Man
1979-2012
Son to Steve and Kathy
Husband to Jessica
Father to Payton
Best friend to all who knew him

Author's Note

Tate Morgan
Last Christmas I laid it out on canvas. It was given to Michael as a present. Little could any of us imagine how prophetic these lines would become. Yet none the less he remains the one deserving in my mind of such an honor. When I met Michael I thought he must have great parents". And so he does. Michael s life ended tragically a few days ago. What's left to say but we loved him we miss him. Nothing fills that void.

Beautiful & touching memorial in so many mediums -- love all the aspects of your collection here, to commemorate this special guy! I love the way your poem conveys him as a regular guy & being honored for simple humanity of his nature. To me this is one of the best things that can be done with one's talent, as you've done here, to help a loved one live on! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you Margie I still miss the guy and hear his voice now and again.
again ..i am so sorry for this loss you all have endured ... hoping time is able to do its part ... this poem is a spectacular tribute ... (if i may use that word "spectacular") ... it outshines any i have ever read ... the respect and dignity you have pressed between love, hope and forgiveness are divine in my opinion ..

My chills have goosebumps Tate, not sure which is more affecting, your poetry or your author's note, they both had a tremendous impact. You know I felt this one....
