The Huge World Around Us

The Huge World Around Us

A Poem by Aritrika Malakar

While the huge world around us
Always talks and sings,
The birds always listen
While they're flying with their wings.

Animals in the water
Swim around here and there,
On top of the water
People swim everywhere.

Into the woods you go
Jungle animals you see,
Some swing on vines
Others climb a tree.

People climb on the mountains
Just to take closer look,
Sometimes they have picnics
But there would be no place to cook.

Planes and helicopters
Fly so high,
Fast and slow
In the sky.

While the huge world around us
Is always busy working,
Be sure that you have
Some time for loving.
