I really enjoy the repetition. There are a few lines that I feel are a little random.
"You are my favorite spice" and "For you I'll swim across the Nile"
I kind of feel like they were just lines where you were fishing for a rhyme and trying to make it fit. I don't know maybe it's just me. Also, is it supposed to be live or life? in the 8th line? Other than that I have no problems with it. I love your style nonetheless and would love to see you get better!
I too would like to see it extended, though.
