Stranger, Would You Mind?

Stranger, Would You Mind?

A Poem by Azure Montessa (Blue)
"

A message of a spellbound girl to a stranger.

"

Stranger, would you mind?

If I take the honored seat
     Next to your glorious throne?
Would you grant me the privilege
Of breathing divine air as yours?

Stranger, would you mind?

If I dip my fervent fingertips
Into your sea of golden locks?
Would you allow a mere mortal
To caress your face carved like a cherubim?

Stranger, would you mind?

If I dare steal a kiss
Just to taste heaven from your lips?
Would you accept my willing soul
And take me now as your own?

Stranger, would you mind?

If you command your celestial crowd
To suspend forever in this moment?
Would you trade your divinity
And stay in this city bus with me?

Just another attempt in free verse. This poem was inspired when I was in a bus, sitting next to a gorgeous guy. :x

I wouldn't mind ... :)
while reading this I didn't felt strange...
I don't think there are strangers out there just humans and what's more important than humans love and connection ? nothing.

Thank you so much, Tom! I see that you have read lot of my poems already. :)
To fantasize about a stranger is not uncommon....however acting on it might be a bit awkward! Wonderful flow of intimate thoughts here. Filled with desire. I liked it a lot. Lydi**

I love the feeling of when you sit next to someone new, they somehow are able to open your eyes and give you a different perception on the world around you. By just the look of them, you could feel so attracted, so comfortable with them without feeling awkward in any sort of way. He must be some lucky guy and I'm sure some people have these moments, though may not choose to write about them. I'm impressed by how you injected your thoughts and feelings into the paper! Wonderful piece :)

Beautifully written poet...what I get out of it is you are putting the importance and beauty of a complete stranger ahead of you and yours. Almost having that "servant" attitude, which is a very endearing thing. I feel you lifting someone's spirit in this write. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for your beautiful words, Smurfett. Well-appreciated! :x
This is very nice, a stream of consciousness that reveals the poet while the stranger is left in the darkness. One wonders how the world would react if we gave these impulses the permission to express themselves.

Lovely insights, thanks, Annie! :)
Oh yeah.... just loosen up a bit. You're almost there. Bring it down to earth - down to street level and you'll have all the freedom you can handle.
