Forced

Forced

A Poem by Ayushi Jha

Let go the rhythm,
it's a worldly possession.
You are apart,
stay.
Let go the aura,
it's fragranced.
Go further away,
stay.
Let go the smile,
it's not felt.
Push it behind,
stay.
Let go the love,
that had bounced.
Don't run anymore,
stay.
Let go
for the rhythm of your own beat,
for the aura that smells pure and civil,
for the smile your eyes gleams,
for the love to live.
and stay.

I usually indulge in writing poems that rhyme. This poem is not so. I hope I did justice to my first attempt.

quite an interesting poetry. never read in this format before. looking absolutely way captivating. here the metaphor's seemed to be "forced".. whether it's 'bout love, smiles, & hurt... everything's meant to be moved on, perhaps... still everything stays alive... somewhere across the corners of life. liked the poetry.

looking forward to reading your work!
