 A Tale Of Halloween

A Tale Of Halloween

Twas once upon All Hallow's Eve
As leaves fell silent from the trees
And winds blew breath of bitter cold
Within my mind and heart to hold

Within graveyard lost to flowers found
Alone I stood within the silent sound
To face my demons of the past
As I stepped from behind my looking glass

Shadows played upon the stones
Of lives now passed from earthly homes

Tears once shed or ever found
For whom lay beneath
This forgotten ground?

DO NOT SCREAM . . .
DON'T  DARE  TURN  AROUND!
Your breath soon too be your final sound
Which of us was truly the two of three?
Who was the mistress ... You ... Or me?

You need not know or see my face
That takes your life thru my disgrace
Die knowing that you were the one
That took the family from the Son

Now to the devil you will pay
For the family's life
You took away

I now belong to shadowed stones
Within this graveyard that is my home
Beware my friends and listen well
To the reality of my tale

Beside these stones that no one sees
I relive my death each Hollow's Eve
Found is no comfort in the falling leaves

Rest In Peace?

No . . .

Not me!

Breathtaking and haunting, I love it. the way it plays out in three dramatic stages,
the narrative, the explaination, and the ghost, the music, graphic, wording, color,
form, passion, thought put into the ambience swept me away, truly beautifully
transpiring and heart touching, a spooky feast for the senses, I'm still taken.

Oh Sweetie I sit here with goose bumps as I once again visit
the Birth of the book What is now my world. This takes me
back to a different time and Place. A place that now haunts
us both... I guess it always will... So so much left behind, but
it opened an new door for us both. Not the same but not as
risky either.... Sweetie this was just so awesome I loved it the
first time I read it and I loved it rereading it tonite.

Hugs and Love

That is really good. It reminds me of Wuthering Heights, the dark drama. I love the way you posted it it too. How do you do that? It all goes so well together. A cracking All Hallow's Evening tale......
