A Poem by Jerbear The Great
"

a poem about and dedicated to my loving girlfriend

"

Amanda

I stare into your eyes,
Lost in your grace,
Here in your arms,
Face to face,
I fear no evil,
I feel no pain,
Nothing to lose,
And the world to gain.

Stroking your hair,
Holding you tight,
Keeping you here,
Lost to the night.
I kiss you tender,
I kiss you rough,
Whatever I do,
It’s never enough.

You pull me close
And pull my hair,
Touching my chest,
With tender loving care.
We hold each other,
Your head on my chest,
Talking softly,
And dozing the rest.

You frequent my thoughts,
And star in my dreams,
I can’t get enough
I’m addicted, it seems.
I wrote this poem,
And meant it too,
To tell you how much I love,
And care about you.

I hope she liked it. was line 26 a typo, or should I read it a few more times?
By the way, you are really improving upon your older works. This poem was awesome.
And, on an aside, if i didnt know that you were not bumping ooglies, I would totally think tht you were.

I would agree, it flows well indeed. The rhyme and rythm is infractured quite well. Yet, it temporary distracts you of the emotional heartbeark behind the poem in itself.

Very nice flow, it touches the heart also. I hope she loves it.
