The Dance

The Dance

A Poem by Avinash
"

"A dance from memory lane"

"
It was a summer night
in a dingy club
filled with smoke
and smell of liquor

Danced with a girl
I did not come with
already by my side
couldn't even hide

She had no hands
But we danced
there was no tomorrow
no judgment and no sorrow

on rhythm and beats
we swayed and grooved
like stardust, like fireflies
we danced like happiness

Get well soon then
The essence of a moment, beautifully wrapped in the memory and engraved on the heart, an innocence that outlasts time because of its purity ♥

Yes we should always treasure such moments :)
The freedom of youth or love or happiness is a great memory, and just like fireflies, fleeting and bringing great joy
