Words

A Poem by chaotic katie
"

distractions obviously didn't work

"

I never did understand the blasphemy of childhood. They say that words will never hurt you when in fact it is words that hurt one the most. Words mock and tease and pierce with vicious laughter. Words form thoughts and opinions that cause people to judge and hate and claim they are right. Words cause people to tear themselves from those who they love. Words start wars. Words are a disease to witch there is no cure.

anytime!
A great point you've made here regarding how words affect people. Some words are meant to build people up while others are meant to tear someone down. Nice work. An intriguing read. :)
