Sometimes i wish for selfish things...

i wish for a world filled with selfish needs...

You would be in it,

laughing and smiling without a care in the world with me...

i want me to be wrapped in your arms, swaying back and forth...

whispering, "i love you."

...Where is that world?

Why do you hurt me? Why do you turn from me?

Where have you gone?

a world filled with questions, wants, and needs.

i wish for a world for only you and me...

there are no others...

i wish for selfish things...

i'll try to forget you...

try to pretend everything's okay...

one day i'll go crazy,

watching you be used however they may...

i guess all along i was in your clutch.

i'll kill myself saying, "i wasn't good enough,"

...i'll descend to my world with my selfish desires,

fallen angels might help from the hell filled with liars...

anywhere is better than to be in your arms, 

to be away from you...is my selfish need

i'll rip the rest of my heart out,

watch it burn while still holding on to one last beat for you....

i'll destroy it because it has no value to me

if you're the one that took it,

threw it away,

and left me hallow, with no emotions inside.

i stand here now with false tears and a black hole in my chest...

and sometimes i wish for selfish things...

this is a life experience that i had in a false relationship, we weren't going out, but we loved eachother, then they left me, making me believe there was still hope, coming and going as they pleased, then never talking to me.

I can definitely relate to this.
It's like 'what can I do to make you care? what did I do wrong? I just want you to love me like I loved you.'
I know how it feels, and I'm sorry.
The best advice I can give to you is to wait. It's so cliche, but time really does heal everything.
And you'll learn, you'll be stronger. Don't trust someone who has you hanging. Don't let them hurt you.
