the binary world

the binary world

A Poem by ba_mcfarlane
"

cyclothymic chant

"
the binary world

The ying the yang
the spoken the sang
the eagle the dove
the hatred the love
the light the dark
the finish the start

the north the south
the G spot the mouth
the nape the lips
the hands the hips
the tongue the c**t
the clasp the zip

the west the east
the famine the feast
the  young the old
the meek the bold
the truth the lie
the hello the goodbye

the give the take
the destroy the create
the stop the go
the ignorance the know
the booze the pills
the lives the kills

The false the true
The me the you
I'm tired of cycling
i'm finished here
i'm through

I read this as a chant and it works wonderfully. I enjoyed the poem as well. Excellent work!

You are very welcome.
Yes, and read as 'chant,' and thoroughly enjoyed! Is that li'l one with the binky and look of precious consternation, the wee one your family was awaiting when last we spoke? Do I remember correctly a granddaughter in your life named Madeline? I'm trying to remember...its been so long...Hi!

The rhythm of your staccato lines is wonderful. Your words run the gamut from the sensual to the mundane and the opposites are brilliant. All the images are intense. Unique work. I liked it. Lydi**

Thank you so.
The progression is astounding and climactic. Every next line bleeds into the other so that all are surrounded with natural neighbors of sorts. This is a very good poem, thank you for sharing it with the community.
