Looking out the window, I almost hoped
That I would see black clouds in the sky
I also wanted to see an orange sky above
I walked outside disappointed to see leaves
It would make more sense to me if for today
The roots were reaching up to an orange sky
Branches sticking through the red grass below
But the world wasn't backwards and upsidedown
I guess its just my heart beating in reverse
Its just like a nightmare I can't escape from
Its never easy when everything changes around you
Its even harder sometimes when it stays the same
I was hoping that you not loving me anymore
Was just a part of some backwords parallel reality
But its just a part of my real life now, and it hurts
Because you haven't moved on to someone else
You've just left me behind, but you still come around

You won't even say hello, but you still hang out here
You've got a better job and life, why are you back here?
