Auburn glow...

Auburn glow...

A Poem by barricade

I light it up for one last time
and watch the auburn glow
My being resonates in the ashes
of the cigarette I smoke
Soon I find myself at the f*g end
of the path I chose
In the cloud of smoke vignette my memoirs
one last drag, One last puff
before I snub it out cold
And watch die, the fading auburn
slow...

You made smoking a cigarette such a beautiful experience! Exceptional word choice and great flow. Keep up the good work!

This is great, it really speaks of the emotional attachment that can develop between the smoke and the smoker. Nicely written.

Thankyou..
I like it but I wanted to read "vignette my memories" as "vignette my memoirs", it just seems to want to go there. For the rest it's a clever piece.
