Warming

Warming

A Poem by beancountersar
"

This is one I came up with this morning....about the transition to Spring...

"

Warming

The Frozen Blanket welcomes despair
Like somber news can dampen a firey hope.
Gray ones interrupt the lonely tale;
A droning song dreaded to be sung.

Alas, how long shall this bitterness linger?
When will this chill escape my hidden heart?
One day the cold cover will retreat by the ray;
And release the captive colours.

really lovely.... a longing love note to the universe... or mother nature... both at the same time... you create beauty just with your poetry... i enjoyed this very much :)

This is short and clever. I liked the way through the last three lines you had a cc alliteration this really seemed to help it flow and give it a good layout. I really liked this.
