A Poem by beauitifulybroken

She releases the blade on her wrist, blood filling the holes she left in her skin

Soon she will be gone and be just a memory to her loved ones

She will never see the kindness in her heart, or the love she would have had if she just held on

She will never see her children’s crying from laughing so hard from being tickled

Or how happy she would be if she just held on

The emotions fade as does the color from an old painting

Strong as the waves that crash on an ocean shore

Her tears she can no longer feel upon her bloodied and broken skin

The heartache she can longer dwell on because the physical pain is bliss compared to the pain that is not seen

Looking in the mirror she sees an old shadow of what she used to be before all the life was drained out of her from the years of self abuse and hate

She will never know joy

Only sorrow will follow of her death

And tears from the ones she never realized loved her
