Melpomene

Melpomene

A Poem by Rebecca Leigh

They inspire,
Ignite a flame,
And they burn bright,
But once they run their coarse,
they snuff out,
Like a spent candle

Thank you for reading. :)
Ah, I love this :) Those Muses have a knack of appearing and creating an inferno only to vanish after they've vanquished the thirst :) Awesome...
