High School Loneliness

High School Loneliness

A Poem by Becca

Alone in these empty halls,

Left behind to drown in sorrow.

High school is rough.

Even if you have someone there.

I'm left alone to venture the halls

As if it's a solitary walk of shame.

Left to wallow in sorrow.

High school is tough.

Especially when no one care.

That overwhelming feeling

Of being alone at lunch.

Not having friends,

Always feeling like someone

Is watching you.

Alone is those empty halls,

Left alone to be alone.

High school can be harsh.

But remember that

The day is almost over.
