Number Two, Number One

Number Two, Number One

A Poem by beefjerky
"

siblings are your biggest rivals...

"
The focus, is on number two,
Neverminding who came first,
And comes to battle and to war,
Stands alive and winner.

The gold, goes to number two,
With ovation in their hands,
Yet flawless as both were,
Number one finishes silver.

The hearts, goes to number two,
Number one forgotten,
A better, cleaner, new speed racer,
Replacing the bulltruck, firm but loving.

The glory, is on number two,
When sidekicks are the hero,
Hero left alone unwanted,
Number two encompassed by followers.

The guilt, however's on number one,
All the trouble all the blame,
"Innocent" number two escapes freed man,
Number one to face the hardships...
