With Whom You Associate With

With Whom You Associate With

A Poem by Mr.Crescendo
"

A rhyming epic about two brothers who unknowingly choose their fates.

"
Once two brothers were born, and each were adorned
With each others passions and thrills.
They shared everything in the house, even their pet mouse
Their likeness gave people chills.

They were walking around, and suddenly found
Two groups of men idly chatting.
They looked quite the same, with traits o so tame,
And both were more than just flattering.

Brother one’s group was small, and hung out in the mall,
Leisurely watching people pass by.
Brother two’s group, however, were quite the spenders,
Frittering their cash on toys and cheap highs.

Their hands were tied, then brother two died,
To cigarettes and risk he gave in.
It was only too late, did he realize his fate,
It matters with whom you associate with.

I enjoyed this so much! What a true statement stated so brilliantly!

It really goes to show you, it doesn't matter who you are, who you sped time with makes a HUGE impact on your life. And it isn't made any clearer than when two people, so alike, lead such different lives because of it.

Awesome poem! Keep it up!

Great rhyming scheme through out with a nice flow on words...

Fate, destiny, calling.... we enter this world as one.... and we leave as one.... that we know...... is fact...

Great read...
