Light within the dark

We all need someone who can save us from ourselves. D. <3

I have found myself an angel

With that of a human face.

He has no halo, he has no wings -

But he's helped me find my peace and my place.

He found me when I was lonely.

He helped me when I was in pain.

He was by my side every time

And he gave so much more than he could gain.

That man was the first to see into my soul.

He made things easy when life got hard.

He gave me strength when I was no longer strong

And just like that - he stole my heart.

I have finally found my savior.

I was rescued with just one spark.

And even if I'm deep in the shadows,

He will always be my light within the dark.
