Lost in you

Lost in you

A Poem by Bhavya Kaushik

Here in silence, I can hear your lonely screams, your abandoned cries,

In darkness I can clearly see your reflection under the moonlight.

In my dreams, you are always mine, but in my life you are just a dream,

I’m living in a world without any color, where everything is only in black and white.

Why my eternal, did we ever apart? Why did you leave a void in my heart?

Why you only exist now in our memories and some faded photographs?

Why these questions from my past still haunt me every single day and night?

Why every piece of my soul, prays so hard to just have your one more sight?

Music can’t help me now, for I have already lost my every song to you,

Symphonies of this lost love are my only music, my silence is so vast.

Roses, violets, doves and rainbows are something which I never dreamt of.

But still now, they have become a nightmare for me, a foe from the past.

When you left, you took everything…just everything away with you,

I was not able to stand, to breathe or to decide for what should I do?

You were the only reason for which I was alive, and now when you are gone,

Gone are my words, my silence, my pain, my joy; as I have lost myself in you.

Hi Bhavya
I don't remember, did i already reviewed this poetry earlier or not but, for now i couldn't stop from reviewing it maybe for the second time. These words are actually i can say "drifting shuttle". I almost went into trans, as i was walking towards the end of the poetry, it was like suddenly woke up from the dream and came alive. This is what i can say, everybody will love.

This is quite emotional. I am touched by your Why's and the irony that music, roses, violets, doves and rainbows, have become a nightmare for you. But still, I admire the sincerity of your love here...having yourself lost in your love.

Good job!

this is just..ummm......outstanding.well.that word is too small to describe it's beauty...so touching and really beautiful the way you've penned it.....the powerful emotions just create a magic in it that you can't resist yourself from reading it again and again.the last line just blew me away.hats off to you!!!
