I am a rapist

I am a rapist

A Poem by Billy Poe
"

An approach for India

"

I am a rapist

And nothing will stop me.

Your posts tweets candles

Newspapers channels activists celebrities exploding with outrage

Your sermons on tradition dignity respect,

Hysterical protests, black bands, flash mobs

Nothing will stop me

What’s law?

My mind, ruled not by inhibitions or morals

But a flood of chemicals,

a tsunami in a brain,

fed on breasts, buttocks, thighs, the female form.

The connections thoughts decisions

And the impulse

not governed by what you think

Or your standards or your judgement.

And the impulse

sickeningly over-powering,

a zillion times faster

than fast track courts.

Your candles cold

next to my crotch.

Nothing will stop me

What’s law?

Scream for your rights, your freedom

Dress the way you want to

Those inches of flesh

tasty when seen

maddening when hidden.

Be blind to the black, sticky darkness in my mind

Your freedom, my temptation

The chances you take, the motivation

You, your uncles and your boyfriends and your fathers and your brothers

can never spot me, stop me.

What’s law?

The gutter at doorstep, tired drugged faces, broken homes, a bowl of E. coli,

Welcome to my neighbourhood

Diesel , Tag Heur, Zara, Charles & Keith, Manchester United, Petrol

Welcome to my neighbourhood

Beamers, iPhones, cool dudes with hot chicks

women, girls, teens, pre-teens,

legs endless, frontless, backless, clueless

About the watching eye or thoughts behind.

I see them, smell them, touch them

Soon, I will taste them

Nothing will stop me

What’s law?

Drunk on frustration,

an impotent anger

that mocks my potency,

I covet and wait.

Nothing will stop me

What’s law?

What is law?

If it can’t castrate, torture me

Slowly, painfully

for an audience.

Let them see and know, know and see

How painful my death, how quick

Tag my severed head on facebook,

The black stickiness dripping off it, a viral

Make it the answer a nation wants to know

Celebrate my dismembered torso on Twitter Tumblr

Street signs, Posters, Billboards, Bus shelters.

Kill me the day you catch me

and you kill not just me

But also the rapist

who sees me die.

It’s the only

mass castration drive.
