Love - first fruitA Poem by P.J.Inspired by the nine fruits of the SpiritLove Covers all with its smothering embrace And clearly infatuates The erring race Sets apace flustering hearts,
then ignites A circle of fire with incinerating
heat Along a blazing street on
which We all walk, talk...though
some stalk. Meet it is that we Gather together our cluster of
thoughts With commonality there is a
degree of finality That love is not Take but give Feeling but experiencing Fulfilment of royal law Delight, not humdrum chore. Selfless, sacrificial,
satisfying Expression of unerring
devotion And for me Best seen when not heard © 2012 P.J.Reviews
