Did you ever know you’re my hero?

As a line from the song goes.

 

We met at the most unexpected place

At the most unexpected time

 

We are the total opposites,

An imperfect match as others say,

 

From the start,

We didn’t have an audience.

 

It was you and me

Me and you.

 

For seven years,

It has been a time of wonder,

 

But in the end,

It was better to let go.

 

Amidst the hurts and pains,

You are still my hero.

 

Why? And why?

 

Coz’ you taught me

To love in your selfless way.

First, you have great rhythm! Reading it almost felt I could bob my head to the beat. I also really enjoyed the ending. There's a lot of emotion behind those last two lines and I can't help but obsess over it. The beginning was not my favorite, it had a few cliques, but by the end, I could see that everything was very purposeful.
