this is second part of my tribute to a friend

The simple words you utter;

Uplift my spirits,

Cleanses my soul,

Protects my being.

 

You have been my refuge

Amidst the many tribulations

Life had bestowed on me.

 

There were times

That I just want to quit

And forget it all.

 

Here you are,

With your fervent prayers,

With your kind words

And your endless hugs.

 

Made me feel whole again,

Much protected,

More motivated

 

As I trek the long journey

To know what life is for me.

 

Thank you my friend

For just being there.
