Self-pity is not the answer

To earn the sympathy of others,

Try to reflect on the answers

Without being unkind to yourself.

 

The greatest lesson

Based on reflections

I have learned in my existence

Is to love myself more.

 

There is no room for

Sadness or depressing thoughts.

I have my worth as a person,

I accept pain as part of life.

Do a SWOT analysis of your life,

The strengths which will help you,

The weaknesses that you have to overcome.

The opportunities you have to risk

And the threats that makes you stronger.

 

 

That is Life in a nutshell.

Self-pity can be an automatic mind-set, if you let it. There is a time and place for it, to gain perspective of what we can do to improve our lot in life, but it has a nasty habit of sticking around too long, like an unwanted guest who won’t leave.
Be confident that you may not be perfect, but you are always getting better at it.
