summer school

Back to the grindstone,

to lectures, reviews and researches

not enough time to pamper myself.

a goal to achieve

is what I am running for.

 

A feather in the cap

is in the running,

will take a lot of sacrifice

and sleepless nights.

 

Fulfilling the requirements

set by the academe

coupled with high expectations

from the professors

 

will be taking a toll on me

once again,

but learning is a never ending

process.

 

Here I am,

motivated, inspired and

excited for summer school.

Summer school. Never a pleasant place to be. When I was young. I dislike school and now that I'm old. School was the best days of my life. Few places, we will have our friend near. Thank you dear friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

Learning is a never ending process and school can sometimes get to you but Knowledge and learning is what is important... I applaud the ones making a sacrifice going to school... Nice write thank you for sharing

You never stop learning, but certainly in your younger days, you have to apply yourself far more. Yes sacrifices have to be made to attain that goal, but it sounds to me as though you are more than ready for the challenge. Good luck. I thought of my granddaughter who is studying hard at the moment when I read your poem.
