WPS TO WCS?

The West Philippines Sea

Is the much sought reward

Of why China and my country

Are not only best of friends,

But also allies as well.

 

That is for now,

Since there is still no

Official contract

That WPS belongs to China.

 

I am saddened by the fact,

That this kind of manipulation

Exists in the dirty world of politics

For just one thing,

Power Domination.

 

China, as the most superior nation,

Is trying to wake up from a deep sleep,

Territorial expansion is the ultimate

Key to world domination.

 

Here comes ailing Philippine economy,

Pleading for help,

The former ally,

Uncle Sam is also sick,

So what better way,

To have other options.

 

China was the best choice,

WPS is for sale,

China sees this as a sign

For the mission to start.

 

Poor Philippines,

WPS is no longer ours,

Should change to

West China Sea or

Simply WCS.

I always love reading your messages becuz I learn more about the world. It’s comfortable to read the matter-of-fact way you explain what’s REALLY going on in your part of the world. You don’t sound angry or resentful, but somewhat resigned to whatever is happening (this is how we feel in the USA, with things being so messed up with the current prez). Even tho we sometimes need to stand up & fight against the crazy s**t in real life, when it comes to writing a poem, I think it’s better to tell a story in an even-handed way as you do. If we lash out at “others”, then it feeds the strife. That’s why I especially admire you for expressing yourself intelligently, but not as a rant (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

thanks for that my friend margie, i try to vent it the other way around coz despite of the wrong decisions i know he is doing something good but just not in the traditional way which my people are not used to yet

Sangayon ako ate sa tula mo, sa totoo lang hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin maintindihan kung bakit parang kailangan ang Philippines ang umamo pa sa China,para bang tayo pa may utang na loob sa kanila.Meron naman nga siguro pero parang sobra naman ang kapalit.

Ahh opo,iyon iba kasi gumagawa ng mga salita na fake para pag may naniwala magrereact nga naman.Minsan iyon kahit opinion lang mayroon na pag hindi nagustuhan below the belt iyon pagtira.Buti po dito friendly iyon mga members.Pero may mga nabasa po ako na ilan reviews na nakaexperience yata po iyon iba ng bashing kaya parang umalis sila as member ng wc.

I seem to recall an old saying to the effect that politics is war by other means. That, I think, is what this poem is saying. Of course, the Filipinos know something about "Power Domination." First there was the Spaniards, then the Americans, then the Japanese. I am sure they will deal with the Chinese just as adroitly.

this time around it is not colonization alone but rather domination at all costs and it is something that i don't know if filipinos will still be resilient about

Water is money. Shortage of water in this world. This is a big issue. Small countries are in trouble when the large countries want everything. China is in Africa too. It is sad we cannot share the natural resources. Thank you dear friend for sharing your words and thoughts on a important topic.
