happy

happy

A Poem by sette

I want to write

Something light for a change,

I have been down in the dumps,

So much for that.

I want to smile

Once again,

And today will be the beginning.

I deserve to be happy

And love myself more.

I love this poem; light hearted, carefree and fresh. Leaves me feeling happy! Thank you Sette for reminding us, as we always get so rundown and drained in our lives. Thank you for a cheery lesson.

We Are More
From the
Word Garden
Of
Valormore

We are more than that which looks back from mirrors.
In sadness, we are more than pools of tears.
In troubled times we are more than our fears.
Today we are more than the sum of years.
~v~
Are we not more than the mistakes we make?
Although at times, our true resolve may shake,
we’re so much more than the abuse we take.
We are so much more than the words we break.
~v~
More than the clay in which we reside.
More than personas in which we hide.
We’re more than all the things we have tried.
We’re more than the name to which we’re tied.
~v~
When our sojourn comes to end at last,
we will not live in times that have passed.
Into a whole new role, we are cast.
We cannot take what we have amassed.
~v~
What is this, more, I’m speaking of?
It’s found in all that, which we love.
You’ll find it fits you like a glove,
reknitted by our lord above.

Self perception may suffer by way of our environment or other causes, yet we are more than all of that. Look forward to eternity and be as happy as possible.

Within each of us is a beautiful fountain.
Its well issues forth boundless goodness.
Its waters wash away the woes of the world.
~*~
Journey inward; seek it out, drink freely of it.
Renew the vitality of life and give freely of it.
Allow it to nurture the gardens of those around you.

I guess it's the season . ...called blue season ..like a flu .. most of us writers seem to have caught it..
(Hugs) required to cure them...the blues...
