an ordinary tale

Just like an ordinary tale,

Boy meets girl,

Boy has someone in his life.

The attraction has been imminent,

It bears no label,

not a fling,

not a no strings attached sign.

more potent than friendship,

who could ever predict

about this foolish thing

this crazy and not too fleeting

emotion called love?

I love this topsy-turvy version of love. I get so sick of pretty tales of romance. In truth the spark of love can often happen in ways that are inexplicable or in ways that make love impossible to pursue. Even tho your poem seems simple, I get the feeling you are making a commentary about the way people categorize relationships.
